Our story
The couple's dream of owning a bakery business started back in 2017 when Misael and Mariana decided to market their signature ham bread (Pan de jamón) in the Miami area.
As their client family began to flourish, Teddy Stove found a nurturing home within Mariana’s mom’s catering kitchen—a place where passion, flavor, and dreams quietly grew together until early 2024.
Then came a milestone worth celebrating. In March 2024, Misael and Mariana opened the doors to their very first production space in Hialeah Gardens—marking the start of an exciting new chapter fueled by growth, dedication, and a vision to share their high-quality creations with a wider community.
But their journey didn’t stop there. With a dream of bringing daily fresh-baked goods closer to their customers, Misael and Mariana continued the search for the perfect retail space—a place where people could walk in, connect, and enjoy their craft straight from the oven.
That dream became a reality in September 2025, when they proudly opened Teddy’s Stove’s current home in Doral.
Today, they warmly invite you to step inside, experience the aroma, taste the passion, and become part of the Teddy Stove story.

Meet the couple
Both Venezuelan native, Misael born in the city of Marcaibo and Mariana in Caracas. The couple moved to Miami, Florida more than 20 years ago when they were teenagers. When Mariana’s family arrived to the US, she started to bake bread as a hobby. Since the age of 15, she started baking and selling venezuelan ham bread during the holiday seasons. This was her initial steps into the bakery world. While Misael experience is more focused on the restaurants and hotels area, he started supporting Mariana after they married with her small baking business. In 2017 they decided to found Teddy Stove, since then, both have used their skills to operate the business and offer the best quality service.
